Pinkerton, a global provider of corporate risk management services, including security consulting and investigations, executive protection, employment screening, and protective intelligence, announced today that it has opened a new office in Austin, Texas. Pinkerton President Jack Zahran made the announcement. The Austin office is located in central Texas at 505 E. Hundland Drive in close proximity to the home of the Texas Longhorns—University of Texas.

Clients will have access to Pinkerton’s full suite of risk management services and solutions, including risk assessment, risk profile analysis, due diligence, investigations, background screening, crisis management, intelligence services, protection services, security risk management and more, to protect their tangible and intangible assets. The office employs several bilingual experts who speak both English and Spanish fluently. “With the addition of our Austin office, we will now have a total of three locations throughout Texas, giving us the opportunity to expand our roots in the state and continue to serve our clients with our extensive array of services,” said Zahran. “We continue to extend our domestic footprint to not only ensure resources are in place to scale up quickly and efficiency based on regional client needs, but also to maximize our intelligence gathering capabilities and leverage those resources to provide clients across the country—and around the world—with timely, insightful insight that can help them make better business decisions.”

Emilia Arutyunova will serve as the operations manager of the Austin office and will be responsible for all operations within surrounding locations. Arutyunova received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in Homeland Security from San Diego State University. She previously managed several divisions in the Denver court system, including criminal, juvenile, domestic and traffic cases. Arutyunova has also worked with the Defense Security Service (DSS) to ensure the defense industry’s compliance with classified information safeguards, and a DSS counterintelligence office to identify and avoid threats to U.S. technology and programs.
