About Erika Koutrakis

Erika Koutrakis was formerly the Pinkerton Operations Manager in New England prior to coming into her role as Director of Chicago. Her first job at Pinkerton was as an Intelligence Liaison; she communicated with the Global Risk Group department and with clients to implement intelligence measures in support of client needs. In 2014, Erika Koutrakis held a position as an Aerospace Department Researcher and Analyst for IHS in the UK, before becoming a Teaching Fellow for graduate-level courses on violent extremism in Boston. Her research as a Teaching Fellow contributed to the T.H. Chan Harvard School of Public Health's understanding of the Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) initiative, as developed by the DHS. Prior to her specialization in counterterrorism policies she worked as a Paralegal for a law firm in Boston and was a Diplomatic Attaché for the Greek Consulate.
