Pinkerton, a global provider of corporate risk management services, including security consulting and investigations, executive protection, employment screening, and protective intelligence, announced today that it has opened a new office in Austin, Texas. Pinkerton President Jack Zahran made the announcement.
The Austin office is located in central Texas at 505 E. Hundland Drive in close proximity to the home of the Texas Longhorns—University of Texas. Clients will have access to Pinkerton’s full suite of risk management services and solutions, including risk assessment, risk profile analysis, due diligence, investigations, background screening, crisis management, intelligence services, protection services, security risk management and more, to protect their tangible and intangible assets. The office employs several bilingual experts who speak both English and Spanish fluently.

Emilia Arutyunova will serve as the operations manager of the Austin office and will be responsible for all operations within surrounding locations. Arutyunova received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in Homeland Security from San Diego State University. She previously managed several divisions in the Denver court system, including criminal, juvenile, domestic and traffic cases. Arutyunova has also worked with the Defense Security Service (DSS) to ensure the defense industry’s compliance with classified information safeguards, and a DSS counterintelligence office to identify and avoid threats to U.S. technology and programs. She is a certified Facility Security Officer, having served as a board member for ASIS International San Diego Chapter and is fluent in Russian.
