Workplace Violence Consultant (Part-time)

The Workplace Violence Consultant will create violence/active shooter curriculum and provide training to Fortune 500 companies. The Consultant is responsible for the maintenance of training completion documents and course improvement recommendations. The position(s) will be located in Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville, Florida.
Essential Functions

- Represent Pinkerton core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Develop workplace violence and active shooter program/course materials and lesson plans.
- Instruct classroom training sessions with participant groups of ten or more;
- Prepare and lead table top exercises.
- Monitor progress of participants.
- Maintain training completion records and survey results.
- Review survey results and recommend improvements related to training effectiveness, curriculum revisions, and/or changes in operational procedures.
- Conduct research on emerging technology, practices, and techniques to enhance instructional knowledge and skill.
- Assist with general administrative functions.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Hiring Standards
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company pre-employment screening process including drug testing and background investigation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
- Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or GED with law enforcement, military, and/or security experience.
Competencies
- Workplace violence/active shooter training curriculum development experience.
- Law enforcement experience including supervisory responsibilities.
- Incident command experience, preferred.
- Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
- Strong client and results orientation.
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Serve as an effective team leader.
- Solid verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

- Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, drug testing, and behavioral selection survey.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
