  • Last week in Germany, a Berlin Court issued a partial ban on diesel vehicles in areas of the city central business district. 
  • In the Philippines last week, a presidential spokesperson announced the decision to reverse the no-imports measure that was implemented in the country since the beginning of the year.
  • The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released a report that urges an immediate and drastic reduction in global fossil fuels use to limit the global warming increase to 1.5°C, or just over 2°F, by 2050.
