  •  Last week in Mexico, local media reported that members of the Military Police took control of the security checkpoint at the entrance to Cancun, on the highway 180D from Merida, Yucatan state.
  • Last week in the UK, the Rail, Maritime, and Transport Union announced further walkouts and strike action along the Northern rail line. 
  • In Spain, the Mayor of Madrid, Manuela Carmena, last week delimited an area in the city center where cars are not able to enter, except for residents or public transportation, as part of the Plan A of the Air Quality project.

  • Last week, cyber-security researchers discovered several fraudulent, malicious applications that masqueraded as fitness apps on the iOS store.
