A major, global client was concerned with protecting its sensitive business information in a high-threat environment.
Pinkerton conducted a detailed Security Risk Assessment. Working with government law enforcement and other agencies, Pinkerton’s assessment found that: a) the 5th and 6th floors (the latter being the C-Suite) were of highest importance; b) the most critical information was housed on 6th-floor servers; c) there was virtually no protection on the 6th floor; and d) existing security officers’ deployment did not align with prioritized needs.
By adding some minimal physical security improvements and re-allocating two security officers from the parking garage to cover the 6th floor server area, Pinkerton reduced vulnerabilities and risk with very little added cost to the company.
