Challenge
A renowned real-estate client approached Pinkerton to investigate the possibility of company sales data being passed on to a competitor.
Solution
Pinkerton conducted a comprehensive Cyber Forensics Investigation which included digital media, and database searches to conclusively arrive at the suspects who had a hand in the pilferage of data. Pinkerton also led exclusive interviews with suspects.
Results
Pinkerton was able to identify the individuals involved in sales data pilferage. Due to the professional and experienced acumen of Pinkerton agents and processes, we were able to provide the date, time, and the person to whom sales data was being sent. We also helped the client design a new process for the client through which pilferage of sensitive data could be minimized.
