Are you wondering which states have the lowest crime risk? Us, too. We decided to look at how each of the U.S. states scored on the Pinkerton Crime Index, a technologically advanced platform powered by AI and frontier data science. We divided the states into four regions and categorized risk scores by crime type: total crime, property crime, and violent crime. A lower score means a lower crime risk. A higher score means a higher risk.
